This mentorship program is designed for new and intermediate practitioners to develop their skills and confidence on the path of a healer. Based in the teachings of reiki, this mentorship includes other tools and techniques that combine well with reiki as well as drawing from twenty years of personal experience in the treatment room. 

This is not an easy time to be alive nor is it an easy time to be a healer. Through community, conversation and practice we will gain strength and confidence to move forward on our paths. We will explore tools for working with clients as well as practices for healing other relationships in our lives: the relationship with our self, our work, our creativity, our families, partners, children, friends and God/dess, Spirit.

The Universe is asking a lot of all of us. This is a time of steep growth. Coming together, we will gain strength, experience and clarity to move forward with more ease and grace.

Gentle body movement & sound bath at Ascentiah Healing Center

Group Session

This sound bath with movement explores the space between what supports circulation and what calms the nervous system. Rather than focusing on the mind or the body separately, the practice invites you to listen to the body as a whole.

We begin with gentle body movement—slow stretches and guided breathing practices. These subtle movements help release tension and clear stagnant energy from the day, inviting circulation, softness, and presence back into the body. Nothing is forced; you are encouraged to listen inward and move in a way that feels supportive and easeful.

As the body opens, you are guided to let go of the energies you’ve been carrying—mental noise, emotional weight, and physical tightness—creating space to reset both mind and body.

From there, we transition into stillness and enter a sound bath experience. Immersive tones and vibrations support deep relaxation, calming the nervous system and allowing your thoughts to drift and settle. The body is given permission to fully unwind.

This is a time to rest and receive. There is nothing to achieve. As you listen, the body naturally finds its own balance and rhythm. You may leave feeling grounded, lighter, and more connected—restored from the inside out.

A sound bath is an immersive, full-body listening experience that intentionally uses sound to nurture your mind and body. Join us monthly, in our serene, resonant sanctuary for music meditations from a wide range of healing sound artists.

Dancing with Grief with Noah Souder-Russo and Mariko Tamegai


What is grief? How does the experience of grief move through our individual and collective bodies? How might we stay in relationship with grief - allowing for emotional alchemy and energetic metabolization - while not being consumed by the immensity of the experience?


Perhaps grief is like a wave we can dance to and ride with. Maybe it's also a cellular rave, a warehouse party with our ancestors and descendants present. The unpredictable frequency range of grief reverberates through our field. What happens when we dance with it together? What becomes possible when we allow all parts of our collective being to co-mingle in the muck?


Mariko and Noah invite you to honor y(Our) heartbreak through periods of movement, music, energy healing, guided meditation, stillness, and connection. There is no experience needed and no "right" way to enter into this ritual space. We welcome all parts of you to be present in whatever way feels most supportive. From the despair and hopelessness to the messy and entangled to the playful and joyous.


As many of us are currently navigating economic instability, we strive to make this offering as accessible as possible. Dancing With Grief is a sliding scale event.

This workshop will take you on a journey of inner reflection.


We'll start with an Opening Meditation & Introduction. This gentle, guided practice will help settle your nervous system. During our Manifestation Talk, we'll focus on how the Scorpio New Moon is directly impacting your Sun sign and Rising sign. For a more complete picture, feel free to look up your Rising sign for additional insight. You may also bring a journal and pen to capture reflections and discoveries that come up at this time.
