Despair Sanctuary is a drone metal vigil for all who are weary. Whether you’re mourning a profound loss, in the throes of a deep depression, burdened with rage, or struggling to find hope—all are welcome. Immersed in sound, we will make space for negative emotions and hold together what is unbearable alone. 

It will feature a curated drone metal playlist, poetry readings, and live performances.

Attendees are also invited to engage in a calming activity during the vigil, such as drawing, coloring, journaling, yoga, and candle lighting.

Group Session

This sound bath with movement explores the space between what supports circulation and what calms the nervous system. Rather than focusing on the mind or the body separately, the practice invites you to listen to the body as a whole.

We begin with gentle body movement—slow stretches and guided breathing practices. These subtle movements help release tension and clear stagnant energy from the day, inviting circulation, softness, and presence back into the body. Nothing is forced; you are encouraged to listen inward and move in a way that feels supportive and easeful.

As the body opens, you are guided to let go of the energies you’ve been carrying—mental noise, emotional weight, and physical tightness—creating space to reset both mind and body.

From there, we transition into stillness and enter a sound bath experience. Immersive tones and vibrations support deep relaxation, calming the nervous system and allowing your thoughts to drift and settle. The body is given permission to fully unwind.

This is a time to rest and receive. There is nothing to achieve. As you listen, the body naturally finds its own balance and rhythm. You may leave feeling grounded, lighter, and more connected—restored from the inside out.

A sound bath is an immersive, full-body listening experience that intentionally uses sound to nurture your mind and body. Join us monthly, in our serene, resonant sanctuary for music meditations from a wide range of healing sound artists.

This is a pay what you wish program with a suggested donation of $20. We accept cash, Venmo, Paypal, and Zelle. You will never be turned away due to lack of funds. Join us!

In this class, students will go deeper into their study of Reiki with the introduction of the Reiki symbols and mantras.  You will learn how to do long-distance healing, absentee healing, and healing beyond time: working with the past, present and future.

Reiki Level 2 is also particularly effective in working with those wishing to break free of habitual patterns and addictive behaviors. You will receive the Reiki 2 attunement that will be sealed in you for life.

There will be time spent practicing different techniques utilizing the Reiki symbols and mantras.

What is grief? How does the experience of grief move through our individual and collective bodies? How might we stay in relationship with grief - allowing for emotional alchemy and energetic metabolization - while not being consumed by the immensity of the experience?


Perhaps grief is like a wave we can dance to and ride with. Maybe it's also a cellular rave, a warehouse party with our ancestors and descendants present. The unpredictable frequency range of grief reverberates through our field. What happens when we dance with it together? What becomes possible when we allow all parts of our collective being to co-mingle in the muck?


Mariko and Noah invite you to honor y(Our) heartbreak through periods of movement, music, energy healing, guided meditation, stillness, and connection. There is no experience needed and no "right" way to enter into this ritual space. We welcome all parts of you to be present in whatever way feels most supportive. From the despair and hopelessness to the messy and entangled to the playful and joyous.


As many of us are currently navigating economic instability, we strive to make this offering as accessible as possible. Dancing With Grief is a sliding scale event.
